In Renfield , the action will focus on the title character, who is fed up with Dracula’s service after many years. His life changes when he falls in love with Rebecca Quincy, an angry traffic cop. The new acquaintance may allow him not only to free himself from his current master, but even to redeem old crimes. The picture is supposed to be a comedy horror.
In addition to Nicolas Cage, the film also features Nicholas Hoult in the title role, as well as Awkwafina (as Rebecca), Adrian Martinez and Ben Schwartz. The production is expected to debut in April next year.
