Ever since CD Projekt announced. that he is working on a new from Andrzej Sapkowski’s universe on production, many theories arise. It is not yet known whether it will simply be The Witcher 4 or a completely new story awaiting players, but there is an opportunity for an additional spin-off. Fans are supposed to get the game in multiplayer.
The studio belonging to CD Projekt – The Molasses Flood is to be responsible for the mysterious production . The assumptions appeared as a result of the advertisement placed through which an experienced developer of multiplayer games is being sought. There is no information about the title of the planned game, but The Witcher seems to be the most likely option.
“CD Projekt Red is looking for a multiplayer game designer to support The Molasses Flood studio in their ambitious project based on one of CD Projekt Red’s IPs,” we read in the job advertisement. “The person employed in this position will create interesting multiplayer elements, game modes and scenarios, leading them from idea to implementation. This designer will report to the Chief Multiplayer Designer and will work with the Design Director, other designers, and a variety of disciplines to create creative, balanced and fun multiplayer games. ”
So far, however, no one from the CD Projekt studio or The Molasses Flood has commented on the suggestions for the new game. The fans can only wait for official information from the creators to find out about the future of the universe.
