The creators of Dead Space Remake never cease to amaze. They keep players informed about new changes. This time they told us about sound design.
Motive Studio will of course make changes to many aspects of Dead Space Remake. This time the creators took the community’s opinions to heart and presented new audio updates in Isaac Clark’s most famous gear.
The material presents audio changes in weapons. Caden House’s Community Manager spoke about the sound quality alone:
The sense of power from weapons comes with the full experience, as it’s not only the core sounds you’ll hear, but also the impact on surfaces, and the effects on the environments, You’ll notice the Plasma Cutter frequency range has been rebalanced to focus more on the kick, as well as the lower end. Overall, this better aligns to that ‘feel’ that so many of you mentioned with the original. With the Pulse Rifle, you can hear now that the rhythm is a bit more chaotic and not as tight as the previous version. There’s a bit more volume from the environmental reaction, as well as more feedback from surface impacts.
As you can see, the creators really put their efforts into the production of refreshing this cult game. If you are as interested as we are, it is worth adding that in May there will be a stream where the creators will tell us about the concept art and effects in Dead Space Remake. As a reminder, the previous livestream was supposed to consist of audio information only, and we got updates on the provisional release date. It is not known what new Motive Studios will serve us this time. Dead Space Remake will be released in early 2023 on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS5 and personal computers .
