Great news for amateurs of painting tiny men with guns. Games Workshop has announced a new series of Warhammer figures – called “Horus Heresy”
A new miniature game with hundreds of new figures will be released soon. It will reflect an important event in the history of Warhammer: 40k – Horus Heresy , when half the legion turned against the Emperor, starting perhaps the greatest civil war in the universe.
While previous Horus Heresy games described only small events from this war, this one is to give the player access to the entire battlefield thanks to the tiny size of the figures. Speaking of miniatures, it will be possible to paint them into many different factions. By changing only the colors and emblems, you will be able to paint your favorite criminals. However, such small figures will certainly be a challenge for any modeling enthusiast.
The Warhammer: Horus Heresy – Legion Imperialis figurines will be available on store shelves in August this year, and in the box you will find 233 figures divided between three factions: Space Marines, Solar Auxilla and Titans.
The devs also announced that the figures will work well with previous boards and that figures from the Adeptus Titanicus and Aeronautica series can be used with them.
