The new Dungeons & Dragons clip features a funny but failed conversation with a zombie. All because of the Speak With Dead spell that got out of control
A new Dungeons & Dragons: Thieves’ Honor clip shows a temporary revival spell that has sadly gone wrong… The main group of adventurers Edgin (Chris Pine), Holg (Michelle Rodriguez), Simon (Justice Smith) and Doric (Sophia Lillis), try to Get answers from corpses using the Talk to the Dead spell. As explained in the clip, Speak With Dead resurrects corpses and allows you to ask them five questions. However, as Edgin quickly discovers, the zombie will answer literally five questions… even the ones that weren’t meant to be answered at all. You can see the entire clip below:
Edgin’s frustrations with the spell mimic those experienced by many D&D teams at their own table. Speak With Dead’s limitations are often catastrophic, as literally every question asked counts.
