Need for Speed: Unbound is getting a pretty substantial free update soon. A mysterious new vehicle is coming, dubbed “The Ultimate Luxury” by EA. See what else the update will bring.
Electronic Arts and Criterion Games announced plans for Need for Speed Unbound – Volume 2 this week . It is not a sequel, despite what its numbered name might suggest. This is a free update that will include more challenges, events and of course new cars for players to earn. The update will be released on March 21 for all platforms.
Some of these awards include Emir Balmain’s Lotus Custom Edition. Those who subscribe to EA Play will receive the Nissan Fairlady ZG 1971, which non-subscribers will not have access to. Another vehicle is also coming, which has been kept under wraps so far, although EA now calls it “The Ultimate Luxury”. It turns it up as something players obviously won’t want to miss.

What else will the update bring?
In total, 40 Daily Challenges and 15 General Challenges will be added to the game. There will be new Endurance, Rumble and Race playlists, as well as refreshed existing ones in the game. In addition to the ultimate vehicle rewards earned by completing them, players can also earn new poses, driving effects, and other mods as part of the update.
