CD Projekt Red has released a new Cyberpunk 2077 update for PC players. According to the Polish developer, this update made available via the GOG platform is small and focuses on modding. Specifically, the version of the .exe file has been changed to match the version available on Steam and the Epic Games Store, making it easier to create mods that are compatible across all digital PC game retail platforms. This is a feature that PC gamers have been asking for for a long time.
While the exact features of this update are known, there is no information as to whether it requires a download. If so, it is not yet known how much the file will weigh. Nevertheless, given the nature of the patch, it can be assumed that the file size will be small, which means quick and easy downloads. Console players are not affected by the update.
