The new trailer introduces us to the deadly abilities of the antagonist, played by Woody Harrelson. As in comic books, as well as animations and games, Carnage can produce menacing-looking blades in the movie. Besides, we also learn how Cletus Kasady got his symbiote.
We can also get a better look at Shriek played by Naomie Harris. It is true that we only see her in prison jumpsuits, but Carnege’s companion openly demonstrates her abilities. In the car escape scene, she uses a sonic attack. You can’t see who the target is, but the power is strong enough to smash the windshield of the car.
In Venom 2: Carnage, Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams and Woody Harrelson (this time as the main enemy of Venom) will return. Andy Serkis is responsible for directing the film. The production will debut in theaters on September 17.
