The presented trailer showed a little more of the plot and gameplay. Of course, the diabolical Lady Dimitrescu and her brother were at the center of the material. It looks like the protagonist – Ethan – will be drawn into some sick games organized by monsters.
The game features Mercenaries mode, which has not been seen since Resident Evil 6 . As in the previous installments, also in the Village, players will be placed on a closed part of the map where they will have to face successive waves of enemies. Time will be crucial during the game. In addition to fighting the enemies, there are also additional objectives that must be completed as quickly as possible. If we do not meet the limit, the game will end.
Capcom also confirmed the recent reports of the second version of the game demo. Takowa will be available on May 1st and will allow players on all platforms to play for one hour in two locations – the castle and the village. There is, however, a catch. This demo will only be playable for one day. If during this time someone fails to download and launch it, unfortunately, they will not have another opportunity to do so. PS4 and PS5 users will also get one additional demo called “8 Hours in Village”. During the eight hours between April 24 and 25, you will be able to play a thirty-minute level in the castle. It is worth noting that these terms apply to North America.
Resident Evil Village will go on sale on May 7th.
