The real story of Transformers began in 1980 with the idea of the Japanese company Takara. She introduced toys in the form of spacecraft that changed shape. They weren’t Transformers yet. They only became such when the American Hasbro purchased the rights to the idea and developed the idea.
An invented story of Transformers tells about the Autobots (ruled by Optimus Prime) and the Decepticons (their boss is Megatron) fighting each other on the planet Cybertron. The robot war is so powerful it threatens the universe. In order to obtain adequate resources for further combat, they land on the ground, are put to sleep and wake up in the 1980s. This is when the “fun” with the Earthlings begins.
Hasbro had great success selling robo-cars, so it followed the blow. Robots, dinosaurs, robotic weapons and more were created. The line from the Prime Wars trilogy pleased fans with figures of Autobots, Decepticons, Titan Masters, robots from the Prime family. The final hand is Transformers: War For Cybertron , which takes place long before “Earth” times, on the Transformers’ home planet. In early 2020, Netflix released the series with this title. And two more seasons are ahead.
New Hasbro figurines were also shown, for which collectors are already sharpening their teeth. There will be, among others Cheetor, Rat Trap or Galvatron. If someone considers this taste as childish, he may be surprised in a few years when collectible toys will be worth several times more! Take a look at these little wonders!
