New recording from the remake of “The Last of Us”

Naughty Dog has released a new short recording of “The Last of Us Part I”. The material has been compiled with the original version from nine years ago to show the differences between the versions.

The video was posted on the studio’s official Twitter account in response to criticism about the price of the game. Many fans accused Sony and Naughty Dog of trying to sell the same title for a third time for $ 70. The aforementioned recording shows that the production will not only undergo a slight “facelift”.

As you can see in the comparison, the character of Tess is almost unrecognizable. At the beginning of the original game, the heroine has been aged, but most of all she looks almost like a living person. Everything from the facial expressions to details such as scratches on the forehead and cheekbones are very realistic.

This recording will surely fuel the discussion as to whether The Last of Us Part I is just an easy leap to the box office, or maybe a title worth considering. Certainly, the doubts will not disappear, especially given the rather unchanged storyline. It is also a mystery how much the actual gameplay will be modified (if it is changed at all). We have to wait for the creators to take another ace from their sleeves to convince fans to buy this production.

The Last of Us Part I will go on sale on September 2 this year.
