Anne Rice’s novel Interview with the Vampire was released in 1976, so fans had to wait almost twenty years for the first film adaptation. Its premiere took place in 1994, and the cast included Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Kirsten Dunst. For many years, the writer received offers from various sides about making a series out of the entire Vampire Chronicles . In the end, it was AMC, production was announced last year.
The cast of the newest Interview with the Vampire features Sam Reid (Lestat de Lioncourt), Jacob Anderson (Louis de Pointe du Lac), Bailey Bass (Claudia), Eric Bogosian (Daniel Molloy), Kalyne Coleman (Grace), Christian Robinson (Levi), Assad Zamana (Rashid) as well as Maura Grace Athari (Antoinette).
