2020 will unfortunately pass almost without news from the MCU world. Almost – because fans are looking forward to the WandaVision series , which is expected to appear in the coming months. What do the new photos from the set reveal on Twitter a few days ago?
WandaVision is one of the most anticipated screen premieres of this year. Not only will it be the first Marvel series on the Disney + platform, it will also be the only new production we will see from this studio in 2020. Due to the exceptional situation in the world, titles such as The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Black Widow were postponed (for the time being to 2021), making the WandaVision series awaited with even greater anticipation.
The plot of the series will focus on the fate of Wanda Maximoff (Elisabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), two extremely powerful heroes known to viewers from earlier films set in this universe. The creators decided to use, among other things, the categories of the classic sitcom, which allows you to guess that after the great success of Avengers: Endgame (2019), the stage of experiments and even greater expansion of the world known to us began.
A few days ago, a few previously unpublished photos from the set appeared on Twitter, revealing a bit the curtain of what Marvel is preparing. The costumes are characteristic of the sixties and seventies of the last century, and one of them even led to fan speculation about a possible musical number.
Interestingly, Elizabeth Olsen herself says that the series will present the heroine in a new version, focusing less on the film Wanda we know, and more on the comic book personality of Scarlet Witch. In addition to Olsen and Bettany, the screen will also include Kat Dennings (known for her role as Darcy in the Thor movies), Randall Park (playing a small role in Ant-Man and the Axes as Jimmy Woo’s agent), Teyonah Parris (as Monica Rambeau, an adult daughter of Maria Rambeau, a friend of Carol Danvers) and Kathryn Hahn. It only remains to wait!
