New photos from “The Marvels” have been published

    • Fans of The Marvels got to see some fresh photos courtesy of Entertainment Weekly . It’s time for Marvel’s mighty new trio!

     

    The new spread features Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani in the foreground as Captain Marvel, Captain Monica Rambeau and Ms. Marvel. However, seeing the three of them team up has been a big magnet for many fans online. Kamala Khan wears a new costume, and Carol Danvers has a mysterious new look that you may have seen earlier in the trailer.

    Director Nia DaCosta is a huge Marvel fan. She told EW that finding a balance between fandom and being the person who makes the decisions can be daunting. DaCosta knows that the MCU can deviate significantly from the source material (just look at Ms. Marvel!). She talked about how she finally got out of that mode and headed into this story.

    The biggest challenge was finding a balance between my point of view as a director and as a comic geek. Of course, there are differences between the comics and the movies, and sometimes I think to myself, “Whoa, whoa, whoa!” Sometimes Kevin [Feige] would say, “You’re too much of a loser. Please stop.

    Marvels creates a powerful new MCU trio

    Iman Vellani was delighted to work on  The Marvels . Fans fell in love with Kamala Khan’s version of her during  Ms. Marvel . In the upcoming film, viewers should be ready for the young actress to become an even bigger sensation. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige says Ms. Marvel effectively steals the show . This is great news for fans of Kamala Khan.

    For example, Kamala Khan is a great new character in the universe. I am very proud of the Ms. Marvel. I also know – and this is a spoiler – she’s basically stealing The Marvels that comes out [July 28]. I’m excited that people will hopefully see this movie and then come back and revisit these shows on Disney+. The great thing about Kamala in her show and now in this movie is that she’s no different from Peter Parker, Tom Holland in Civil War. She can’t believe she’s with all these heroes and she can’t believe she’s where she is. (…)
