Netflix announced that Michelle Yeoh will play the role of Scían, and Sophia Brown has been cast as Éile.

Michelle Yeoh is recognized as one of the greatest and most successful actresses of Asian origin. She was most recently seen in the CBS production Star Trek: Discovery , Joe Carnahan’s Master Level opposite Mel Gibson and Frank Grillo, and Paul Feig’s Last Christmas .
Character description:
Scían is the last of her nomadic swordsman tribe. Nobody is equal to her skill in handling a blade, and no one bears as much loss in her heart as she does. When the opportunity arises to retrieve a stolen holy-sword, taken from her fallen tribe in a nefarious manner, Scían embarks on a deadly mission that will change the fate of the Continent.

Character description:
Éile is an elite warrior gifted with the voice of a goddess who has abandoned her clan and position as queen’s guardian to follow her heart and lead a life as a traveling singer. Description of the series:
The production presents a long-forgotten story set in the world of elves, which took place 1,200 years before the action presented in the series The Witcher. He will tell about the origins and fate of the first Witcher and about the events that led to the “Conjunction of the Spheres”, when the worlds of monsters, humans and elves came together.
Alongside Sophia, the cast includes the already announced Laurence O’Fuarain and Michelle Yeoh.
The series will be executive produced by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and Declan de Barra, who will also serve as showrunner.
Andrzej Sapkowski will become the creative consultant for the series, and Jason Brown and Sean Daniel from Hivemind as well as Tomek Bagiński and Jarek Sawko from Platige Films will be executive producers.
The premiere is scheduled for 2022.
