A video with an excerpt from the latest game based on Marvel comics has hit the network. This time, the team of space heroes meets the dangerous Lady Hellbender.
The material is a fragment of an interactive cutscene from the upcoming game about Guardians of the Galaxy. The video is a continuation of what could be seen on the E3 gameplay. The team finally reaches Lady Hellbender, a buyer of dangerous creatures, to make a deal for Groot. However, “negotiation” does not begin as planned by the protagonists.
On the occasion of the publication of this fragment, Darryl Purdy, head of the animation and cutscenes department at Eidos Montreal, told a bit about the game. He confirmed that we will see nearly 6 hours of scenes without proper gameplay. He also revealed that the team was determined to include Lady Hellbender in the game, which gained a lot of sympathy among Marvel comic fans.
The production announced during the last E3 was quite a surprise. Unfortunately, the title met with a lot of criticism, mainly due to the character’s design. Focused on the plot and action-packed gameplay, the game will allow us to play the role of Star-Lord. As a hero from Earth, we will get the opportunity to give orders to other Guardians during the fight and more. The title will not allow a multiplayer game.
Marvel: Guardians of the Galaxy will debut on October 26 this year on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and of course on computers.
