Bloody Disgusting journalists noticed that on the CastItTalent casting page there is a note about the plot of Nun 2. The last movie about Sister Irene did not catch on well, but it’s still the universe of the Presence , so maybe this time it will be a real hit. It is known that New Line Cinema is already actively preparing for fist shooting.
On the CastItTalent website , where you can submit your casting applications for Nun 2 , a description of the likely plot of the film was found. It’s short, but it already reveals more than what the creators have officially said so far:
1956 – France. The priest is murdered. Evil spreads. The sequel to the world hit “The Nun” tells the story of Sister Irene, who once again has to face the demonic force of Valak – the Demon-Nun.
On the casting website, you can also deduce a lot from the descriptions of the roles for which the actors are sought. One of them is Sophie (10-12 years old), who is supposed to be one of the main characters:
A shy, adorable ten-year-old student in St. Mary’s School, France. […] Sophie is often tormented to tears by a group of unpleasant girls. He becomes friends with Frenchie, who works on the school grounds. He is Sophie’s only ally, apart from her sister. She almost copes with the bullies at school … until she begins to be plagued by mysterious demons.
The second character is Antoinette, who is one of the girls teasing Sophie. It seems that the girl’s life will not only be hampered by problems with contacts with her peers, but also by Valak, who will most likely also haunt her.
