The first change you can spot in Project Rene is at the very end of the video below, which showed a user adjusting some living quarters. You get the impression that the grid design used in The Sims games so far will no longer be present. We see the user moving his objects freely to be as precise as he would like. It has also been confirmed that players will be able to customize things like sizes, shapes and patterns of various objects, as well as colors.
Another interesting detail about Project Rene shown during the broadcast was the fact that multiple users can interact in the same space during the game . People can play solo of course, but if they choose to do so, they can post and share their creations with others for them to see and possibly interact with.
This game will also play on multiple platforms seemingly at the same time. One part of the stream showed the game running on a PC, while an identical version was displayed on the phone.
The bad news is that the project won’t be available any time soon. This has been repeated more than once during the broadcast with updates expected to be released on this project over the next few years. So we have to wait for Project Rene to play .
