Netflix’s series “The Witcher”, based on the series of Andrzej Sapkowski’s books, is a great hit, it was immediately certain that a second season would be created. It is already known who will play in it.
Netflix announced today that the cast will be joining the cast for the second season of The Witcher :
Adjoa Andoh ( Bridgertons , Silent Witness ) as Nenneke ;
Cassie Clare ( Brave New World , The Bisexual , Ferajna z Baker Street ) as Fillippa Eilhart ;
Liz Carr ( Silent Witness , Devs ) as Fenn ;
Graham McTavish ( Outlander , Hobbit ) as Dijkstra ;
Kevin Doyle ( Downton Abbey , Happy Valley ) as Ba’lian ;
Simon Callow (A room with a view, Four Weddings and a Funeral ) as Codringher ;
Chris Fulton ( Bridgertons , The Outlaw King ) as Rience .
About the second season of The Witcher:
Convinced that Yennefer died in the Battle of Sodden Hill, Geralt of Rivia takes Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows – his childhood home in Kaer Morhen. While behind its walls kings, elves, humans and demons fight for dominion on the Continent, Geralt must protect the girl from something much more dangerous: the mysterious power hidden within the princess.
The second season will include: Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, Joey Batey, MyAnna Buring, Tom Canton, Lilly Cooper, Jeremy Crawford, Eamon Farren, Mahesh Jadu, Terence Maynard, Lars Mikkelsen, Mimî M Khayisa, Royce Pierreson, Wilson Mbomio, Anna Shaffer and Therica Wilson-Read.
Earlier it was announced that in season two they will also play: Yasen Atour as Coen, Agnes Born as Vereena, Paul Bullion as Lambert, Basil Eidenbenz as Eskel, Aisha Fabienne Ross as Lydia, Kristofer Hivju as Nivellen, Mecia Simson as Francesca and Kim Bodnia as Vesemir.
Lauren Schmidt Hissrich is the showrunner and executive producer of the series.
