The trailer welcomes the super students to Godolkin University, run by Vought International, which has been training the best and brightest young heroes since 1965.
The Genu V class includes Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair), Andre Anderson (Chance Perdomo), Polarity (Sean Patrick Thomas), Emma Shaw (Lizzie Broadway), Cate Dunlap (Maddie Phillips), Jordan (Derek Luh and London Thor), and the university’s rising fusion star Golden Boy (Patrick Schwarzenegger).
Being a hero isn’t about glory. It’s about dedication.

Official description:
Generation V, who come from the world of The Boys , investigate the first generation of superheroes in order to learn V’s relationship and that their powers were injected into them, not given to them by God. These young heroes test their physical and moral limits as they compete for the highly coveted top spot in school. They quickly learn that ambition comes with sacrifice, and the difference between good and evil is not as clear as they once thought. When the university is dark, secrets are revealed and the students must face what kind of heroes they will become.
To quote Marie from the bloody trailer:
Everything is fucked up!
This young team [is] fantastic. We have connections to The Boys universe here and we carefully cast the characters throughout the season. So there are a lot of gems that I think fans will love. It’s a great combination of social commentary, gore (there’s a lot of gore) and a really fun mystery. And I think people are going to be surprised when they watch this show…These two shows [ Gen V and The Boys] have some really interesting connections. So I’m probably talking more than I should, but I’m really excited. (…)

Gen V also features guest appearances by Clancy Brown and Jason Ritter as well as Jessie T. Usher as A-Train, Colby Minifie as Ashley Barrett and PJ Byrne as Adam Burke reprising their roles from The Boys .
The new series premieres September 29 on Prime Video .
