We are less than a month away from the premiere of the latest Suicide Squad, and fans of the upcoming DC movie are being generously presented with new information from the set. The film’s director just shared a behind-the-scenes photo.
The photo James Gunn shared on his Instagram profile captures him and The Suicide Squad cast on set. What is most interesting, each of the actors present at it takes on the role of the character they play, which gives us another opportunity to look at the heroes of the title. See it for yourself:
In addition to the director himself, the photography includes: Sean Gunn (Weasel), Pete Davidson (Blackguard), Mayling Ng (Mongal), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Jai Courtney (Kapitan Boomerang), Nathan Fillion (TDK), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Flula Borg (Javelin) and Michael Rooker (Savant).
The suicide squad will take us to Belle Reve – the prison with the highest death rate in the entire United States. Its walls hold the worst supervillains who will do anything to regain their freedom. Including joining the secret Shock Unit X. Among the daredevils willing to take on this challenge will be Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Javelin, Savant and the well-known Harley Quinn. But the task they face will prove more difficult than they initially thought.
The faces known from the 2016 film will return to the cast, including Margot Robbie or Viola Davis, but there will also be completely new characters. In the second part of The Suicide Squad, David Dastmalchianm will play as a Polka-Dot Man, Steve Agee as King Shark, Daniela Melchior as Ratcatcher, John Cena as Peacemaker, and Sylvester Stallone will be voiced by King Shark. And many more.
The latest production from the world of DC will debut on the cinema screens on July 30. If you still haven’t seen her last pre-release trailer, catch up on yours here .
