When the third season of The Witcher appears on Netflix, fans can apparently expect a more faithful adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s work. Showrunner Lauren Hissrich previously revealed that the season will feature a lot of content from the novel Time of Contempt . Redanian Intelligence reports that Ralf Blunden (code name “The Professor”) is portrayed by actor Sunny Patel in season three. The killer was tracking Yennefer and Ciri in the book, which will likely be the case in the show as well.

Patel is best known as a video game actor who worked on Vox Machinae and Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor . It should be noted thatPatel’s castinghas not been confirmed by Netflix or anyone associated with the show. As such, readers should take this report with a grain of salt for now. Unfortunately, Netflix hasn’t revealed anything about season 3, and we don’t even have a set release date other than summer 2023.
Season three will be the last for series star Henry Cavill . The actor’s departure from the series was announced last year. No reason was given for Cavill’s departure from the production, but the actor often expressed frustration that the show was not more faithful to Andrzej Sapkowski’s works.
