A report prepared by The Ronin revealed that work on the adaptation of the extremely popular game from Sony will begin soon. According to reports, the production will be called Horizon 2074 , and shooting for it will begin in August in Toronto. The creators planned that they will finish the project by March 2023, so it is possible that viewers will be able to watch the work in the same year or in early 2024.
There is no official information about the series from the producers yet. If rumors are to be believed, the plot will focus on times long before the action in the games, which gives Netflix a lot of room for maneuver. Since the work on the production will start so quickly, it probably won’t take long for details from the devs about the cast, plot and everything else that fans will be interested in.
At the moment, Sony is definitely moving towards adaptation. In addition to Horizon Zero Dawn , there are also productions based on God of War (more information about it here ) and Gran Turismo .
