Netflix premieres in 2020 as planned

Netflix has over 200 films and series in post-production, all of which will be released in the next 12 months.

Many streaming stations / platforms in the era of coronavirus have problems
with the premieres of their productions, due to interrupted work on the set of the series or changes in the schedule. However, these problems do not apply to the “Netflix” platform – Ted Sarandos, head of “Netflix” for content, said when asked about possible problems related to the pandemic that the service could be operational by the end of 2020 without major shifts in the programming schedule. Netflix has over 200 films and series in post-production at the moment. All of them will be released in the next 12 months. Although eventually the platform will get delays in premieres (e.g. “Stranger Things” or “The Witcher”), we will see most of the series as planned (for example the new season of “The Crown” , which ended during the pandemic), and the shortages will be filled with animated productions.
