King Kong fans will be able to see their favorite character on screen again this summer. Netflix has just presented the trailer of the new animated series in which the gorilla will play one of the main roles!
Kong is set to return next year to face Godzilla again in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire . However, fans won’t have to wait until 2024 to see the ruler of Skull Island on screen, as Netflix has confirmed that Legendary Studios’ animated series about the giant gorilla is coming this summer. Not only has Skull Island received a release date, but a new trailer has also given us a better look at the adventures of the giant monsters.
The premiere of Skull Island was announced on June 22, so we will see Kong again in less than a month. The series is also an extension of MonsterVerse created by Legendary Entertainment. So it can be expected that in the future we will see more projects referring to the aforementioned world. Many people now also hope that Godzilla will also receive its production, but the creators are silent on this matter so far.
