In the third season of Sword of the Demon Slayer, Tanjiro, Nezuko and several other members of the Demon Slayer Corps tried to take on the two strongest lieutenants employed by the demon lord, Muzan. The Swordsmith Village Arc may have left the likes of Inosuke and Zenitsu on the sidelines, but it has come off as one of 2023’s most action-packed anime seasons. Now we know that Demon Slayer is coming to Netflix later this year.
For better or for worse, the Swordsmith Village Arc has been filled with battles for the most part, as the Upper Moons 4 and 5 launched a surprise attack on the location that makes the Demon Slayer Corps weapons. Similar to the Mugen Train and Entertainment District Arcs, Tanjiro and co took savage damage during the fight, but also walked away with a massive increase in overall strength and skill. Without going too deep into spoiler territory, the Demon Slayer Season 3 ending also brought a big change to Nezuko and caught the attention of Muzan, the demon lord who mostly worked in the shadows. Unfortunately for Tanjiro and his allies, Muzan is preparing to take a much more practical approach.

Since its inception, the Demon Slayer anime has topped the charts on streaming services around the world, and Tanjiro’s story struck a chord with the anime fan community. Thanks to its popularity, it should come as no surprise that the fourth season of the anime has been confirmed.

The upcoming fourth season of the Demon Slayer anime will focus on some of the less visible members of the Demon Slayer Corps. Since the anime is trying to reach the same finale that brought the manga to an end, Ufotable has been strict about how many additional seasons and/or movies the series will get. Rest assured that Tanjiro’s adventure is meant to come out with a bang.
