Sławomir Kiełbus, author of character designs, comments on the work on the animation:
When working on a comic book and designing characters for the series, my overriding goal is always to reflect the spirit of Christa’s creativity. I guess it is not difficult for me, because I was soaked with this spirit in my childhood. I grew up on these comics. When drawing, I respect the original, but avoid blindly following the style. Designing characters for a series is quite different from working on an illustration. In a moving picture, any shortcomings that arose at such an early stage translate into the quality of the animation and the reception of the series by viewers. The work on character design is also much more extensive – it was necessary to draw full turns of the characters, perspective views, facial expressions, characteristic poses of the characters or facial expressions.
