After much speculation about the upcoming Lord of the Rings TV series from Amazon Prime Video, it was revealed last month that the project was named Rings of Powers . The series' promotional campaign continues, and today posters of the production's heroes were shown!
At the moment, however, everything is very mysterious. The posters do not show the entire characters, but only their fragments. Aside from Sauron’s iconic gauntlet and sword, it’s hard to identify the rest of the heroes.
The series is set to take place during the Second Age, thousands of years before the events of the cinematic trilogy. It will focus on the formation of the Rings of Power and the story of how they were passed on to elves, dwarves and humans. It is also known that the production is to be “multi-season”. We will be able to watch the first episodes from September 2!
