We have likeable characters, dynamic action that does not allow for boredom or songs performed by the characters that carry the message. The characteristics of negative and positive heroes are also clearly marked. All this so that the child has no problem understanding the whole thing and gets maximum fun from a quite short (over an hour and forty-five minutes) session. The performance of Krokodyl deserves the most deserved praise. In addition, the production carries the right message, educates in a pleasant and unobtrusive way, can also make you feel emotional and trigger empathy.

In my opinion, the main complaint is the fact that the film is somewhere between a fairy tale and a more family-oriented film. This is mainly a technical aspect. Then the visual sphere would play better. In addition, the entire premise and issues raised in the plot are laid out on a tray for the viewers. If we ignore the above flaws and forget the logic and focus solely on the child’s point of view, the movie is very good. The actors played at a satisfactory level, their selection is also acceptable. I was never bored for the entire show. I was happy to follow the fate of the characters, getting into the action, because Crocodilein some scenes he strongly plays on emotions, and in more sensitive ones he can squeeze a few tears from the eyes. Watching without analyzing certain details, you can have a great time. It’s only when we start to think about the plot that the bugs come out of the shadows, so watch while enjoying the moment. In fact, the whole thing is more pleasing to the ear than to the eye, because, as in old fairy tales, we listen to many songs written for the script, performed by the crocodile (Shawn Mendes) and his teacher (Javier Bardem). Although Mendes’s vocals don’t quite match the appearance of the animal, it is very pleasant to listen to.
If you have no idea what to take your child to the cinema with, Big Green House Crocodile will be a good idea. In the case of an older child or teenager, not so much. Adults better choose another show. The average assessment of the total production seems to be the most appropriate. In our opinion, the film is quite good, with the right approach it gives a lot of fun.
