Announcing the show Ms. Marvel last year was quite a surprise. Fans, however, were very optimistic about this news and waited for the official announcement of the lead role. On Wednesday it was announced that Iman Vellani will play the young heroine. It is not known yet how much talent the actress has, as it will be her debut.
Since her premiere appearance in the Captain Marvel comic book series, Kamala Khan has continued to grow in popularity. Only seven months after the first notebook with her participation, the teenager got her own solo series. In 2019, during D23, an acting series about her was officially announced, and in this year’s game, Marvel’s Avengers is one of the main characters and the driving force behind the plot. Only seven years have passed from the moment of her debut to the present day.
Comic book Kamala Khan is a teenager with Pakistani roots who lives in the American state of New Jersey. The girl has the so-called polymorphic abilities, i.e. it can change the size and shape of its body and its individual parts. Kamala is the first Muslim character in Marvel comic book history to get her own series.
Work on the set of Ms. Marvel should start later this year. The premiere on Disney + is scheduled for 2021.
