Coates, in an interview regarding his employment by DC Films and Warner Bros., merely suggested that this project would be part of the current DCEU movie universe. The mystery is also who would play the role of a man of steel. Henry Cavill’s return is of course possible, but preliminary castings are also underway. Taking into account the experience of the writer, the option of engaging a black actor also sounds realistic.
