We just got to know the cast of the most important characters in the reboot of “Mortal Kombat”. See also who will play Sub-Zero, Jackson “Jax” Briggs, Raiden and Mileena.
In the new Mortal Kombat film by Greg Russo we will see the actor Ludi Lin as Liu Kang known for his role as Zack Taylor / Black Warrior in Power Rangers from 2017 (he also played in Aquaman and Monster Hunt ).
On his Twitter channel, the actor greets all Mortal Kombat fans , sends his appreciation to Robin Shou, who plays the role of Liu Kang from previous films in the series ( Mortal Kombat from 1995 and Mortal Kombat 2: Annihilation from 1997), and declares his readiness to fight.
Ludi Lin has also shared on his twitter a video edited by fans, which is a foretaste of what we will see in Mortal Kombat .
The cast of other key characters has also been announced:
- we will see Joe Taslim in the role of Sub-Zero (he played the main role in the movie The Night Comes for Us and he starred in Star Trek: Into the Unknown ),
- Jacksona „Jaxa” Briggsa zagra Mehcad Brooks (znany z seriali Supergirl i Czysta krew),
- Tadanobu Asano will play Raiden (he played Hogun in Thor and Thor: The Dark World , and also Lord Kira in 47 Ronin ),
- Mileena will be played by Sisi Stringer (she played in the comedy Matt Gaffney Must Die ).
The world premiere of the reboot will take place on March 5, 2021.
