A week has passed since the release of Kombat Pack 2 and at the same time the ultimate version of “Mortal Kombat 11”, and the creators have already released another additional content. This time there is a set of skins that will surely appeal to fans of the first screen adaptation of the series of games.
NetherRealm Studios today released a pack of three alternative skins called “Klassic MK Movie Skin Pack”. In addition, we will find new images for Sonya, Johnny and Raiden. Now these characters will be able to look like their versions from the movie Mortal Kombat released in 1995. But that’s not all, because the characters not only received the images of actors, but also speak with their voices. Christopher Lambert, Linden Ashby and Bridgette Wilson-Sampras returned to their roles from the first adaptation after more than a quarter of a century.
Of course, this is not the only case in this installment of the fighting game series with such a direct reference to that production. Shang Tsung was the first additional character in the game, a player’s guide to the crypt, and a key element in the plot of Aftermath . Actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa returned to the role of a sorcerer and lent him his voice as well as his image.
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Google Stadia.
