More works by Tolkien on the way

Although nearly 50 years have passed since JRR Tokien’s death, his work is still very popular. From time to time, there are projects inspired by the world he created. The author also wrote many unpublished works during his lifetime, and now more works have been announced.

The new collection of stories from Middle-earth will be called The Nature of Middle-earth . In these works, Tolkien explored the nature of the world he creates. The description shows that it will be like an account of a journey through the author’s fantastic world. We will read, among others about the immortality of the elves, the divine spirits of Middle-earth, the essence of the Valar, the lands and creatures of Númenor, the geography of Gondor, and even which races may have had stubble. The material collected in the book had never been printed before.

The book has been officially authorized by those managing Tolkien’s estate. The collected works were edited by an expert in the field of the author’s works and the head of the Elvish Linguistic Fellowship – Carl F Hostetter. Earlier, he had already worked with the son of a fantasy literary legend – Christopher Tolkien – who managed his father’s work until his death in January this year. The Nature of Middle-earth will debut in June next year by HarperCollins.

Work is currently underway on the next screen adaptation of Tolkien’s story. Amazon Studios is shooting a series in New Zealand set to take place in Middle-earth during the Second Age. This production is also expected to premiere on Amazon Prime Video next year.
