Remedy Entertainment announced more titles set in the world of paranormal games. One of them is a spinoff, which will be something completely new to the studio.
The announcement included two titles. The aforementioned spinoff of the series, currently known as Condor , is to be a cooperative game for four players. It will be created on the studio’s proprietary engine – Northlight. By the way, Remedy also announced that 505 Games will be a co-publisher of this production. No details about the release date yet, but this game will definitely appear on PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PCs.
Remedy fans may be surprised, because the studio is not known for creating multiplayer games. Mikael Kasurinen, responsible for the Control brand , admitted that he understood some people’s possible distance to the idea of multiplayer production. At the same time, he promised the studio would keep his identity and maintain a high level of storytelling. Certainly, the belief in this project is considerable, as its budget is to be at the level of nearly 30 million dollars.
There is even less information on the second title. Kasurinen only announced that it will be something very ambitious and will require an even larger budget. At the moment, the studio has outlined plans for large cooperation to further develop the world of Control . In the case of this game, no hints about a possible premiere were given either. According to Mikael Kasurinen, it will be a long time before both productions go on sale.
