Some Barbie animations have recently appeared on Netflix, including the older ones such as The 12 Dancing Princesses or The Magic of Pegasus . With the debut of the new Barbie: Mermaid Power and Barbie: Epic Road Trip on the streaming platform, Mattel has signed a long-term deal with her.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter , the first fruit of Netflix’s collaboration with Mattel is the latest interactive movie. Barbie: Epic Road Trip . Mattel General Manager Fred Soulie has already commented on the project:
Barbie: Epic Road Trip further develops Barbie’s ability to inspire, motivate and entertain children around the world. […] We are very excited about the new era of Barbie production, where viewers will be able to interact with Barbie like never before.
