Are you ready for another great fun? Miraculous: Ladybug and Cat Noir made its international debut earlier this month, and the Netflix team released a new trailer for it.
As seen below, the gorgeous trailer features Marinette Dupain-Cheng in all her heroic glory. The film will tell a brand new story with Marinette and Adrien AKA Cat Noir – unlike anything we’ve seen before. We finally get a prequel showing how these two Parisian teens got their powers, and the trailer proves that their origin stories are crazy.
Eventually, Marinette discovers her powers as she makes her way through high school and meets Cat Noir while at work. Of course, Ladybug falls in love with Adrien at school, though neither of them know about the others’ secret identities. It seems the two will fight to keep their lives separate as heroes and apprentices. The situation will become even more intense when the villain Hawk Moth awakens. Of course, the good and bad characters will be presented as we’ve seen them before. For the first five seasons of Miraculous, we spent a lot of time with Cat Noir, Ladybug, Hawk Moth, etc. Now we’ll get to see the origins of these legends, and Netflix will bring the story to life on July 28.
If you’re not into Miraculous, well, this movie is a great start to your obsession. It’s a prequel after all, so you’ll be safe from spoilers watching the movie.
