Cyberpunk 2077 fans can expect many new features and improvements with the Phantom Liberty expansion . Unfortunately, its content will not include the metro awaited by players.
In Cyberpunk 2077’s files you can find evidence that CD Projekt Red was working on a subway system in Night City. It was not included in the base game, so players began to speculate that it would be added to it with the Phantom Liberty expansion . Marcin Momot , Director of Global Communications at CD Projekt, denied the rumors on Twitter :
Nothing has changed about the subway system in Cyberpunk 2077 – we have no plans to add it in the future.
