The first 50 pages are dedicated to Ed and Lorraine, their lives and what made them go into the paranormal. You will find here a lot of interesting facts, quotes and facts about their everyday life. In the following chapters we look at specific cases, among which the most famous ones are mentioned, such as the one with the Annabelle doll. At the end, we also find a few stories outside the scope of demonologists’ activities. The author, Cheryl A. Wicks, discusses e.g. bigfoot theme, thus referring to supernatural events not necessarily related to exorcisms, but still revolving around the main theme of the book. Thus, he explores what for some is pure fiction, and for others inexplicable, but true events.

For people who believe in paranormal phenomena and the existence of demons, it will additionally cause thrills and horror, so it will also be an ideal position around Halloween. People looking for facts about exorcisms may also be interested in it. This time, there were no photos that could bring us closer to the appearance of the main characters, objects or places of events. As I mentioned, we also get information about the Warrens themselves. It is certainly an interesting addition for all new readers. However, recipients who have already had the opportunity to read several previous volumes or are simply interested in the famous couple will not get anything new here and can simply skip a large part of the book, without losing anything. Especially since the creators got a repetition here and we get the same anecdote from Ed’s life twice. Other than that, however, we will not find any major errors here and in the end we will spend a nice time reading. Unless, of course, we like these types of stories.

The latest book about the life of Ed and Lorraine Warren will certainly not disappoint lovers of the series published by Replika and films from the Conjuring universe . Fans of horror and paranormal phenomena will also be delighted. An attempt was made here to scientifically explain unusual events, as well as to look at the most famous cases from several perspectives. In addition, we also get to know the course and development of the career of demonologists, which for some may be a complete novelty and an opportunity to learn more about the main characters. The creators did not avoid a few mistakes, but in general, the Underworld. True stories are quite good entertainment and worth spending some time on.
