On Friday, May 1, from 4:00 p.m., we will see the films "Captain America: The First Battle, Avengers" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron" . Throughout the May weekend, you will be able to watch film reruns, and on Sunday, May 3,
at 19:00, we will have a two-episode premiere of the series "Inhumans".
For several years, films about superheroes have been triumphant in cinemas around the world. Characters known from comics appear literally everywhere – they are on notebooks, mugs, clothes and pillows, but not only! Avengers attributes waffle maker, Thor’s dumbbells, Captain America’s shield-shaped backpack, Iron Man perfumes? Our imagination knows no bounds. We must really love superheroes! But why?
Love for the cloak from childhood
from the Marvel Universe shows, however, that this love cannot be forgotten for a long time. Why do adults also love the power of saving the world? As noted by Dr. Robin Rosenberg, a psychologist dealing with the topic of the influence of superheroes on the human psyche (it must be an interesting activity!): – Stories of how heroes are born inspire us and provide us with patterns of coping behavior; help to understand the meaning hidden
in traumatic experiences and show how to find the strength to face adversities [2].
Heroes for our times
and highest-grossing film franchises in history. Although the first movie
from the Marvel universe was not made until 2008, more than 20 Marvel Studios productions have been released since then. We’ve had plenty of adversity lately. Everyone will need some encouragement and hope in these unusual times. Moments of detachment from reality can be provided by the Marvel movie marathon.

Captain America: The First Face Off

Captain America: The First Battle is a screen adaptation of a comic book series full of spectacular special effects, the action of which takes place mainly during World War II. Steve Rogers is a thin, sickly boy from Brooklyn who dreams of a career in the military. Initially, his candidacy is rejected, but Steve enters a secret program to create a secret weapon to fight the Nazis – a super soldier. After taking a special serum, Steve gains superhuman strength and endurance and, as Captain America, must stop the Red Skull, Hitler’s right arm, from world domination.
Chris Evans , who plays the title role, long wondered if he should accept the proposal to star in the film:
– I had many doubts about taking up this role. The contract included as many as six films! The problem is that even if only one of them turns out to be a great success, it will change your life forever, which you may not be able to cope with as well as you would like. In the beginning, there was a certain fear. But then I thought, “If this is what I fear, then maybe that’s what I should do?” In retrospect, I know it was a good decision. I’d be spitting on my chin now if I hadn’t assumed the role.
In preparation for the role of Captain America, Chris tapped into the source itself:
– I started by reading as many comics as I could find. I think the most helpful thing for me was to discover who Captain America was before. I wish audiences at the end of the movie can still find
the Steve who he once was in this superhero.

Avengers

Avengers is the next Marvel movie after Captain America: The First Showdown. It is also the first picture in which the
superheroesknownfrom comicsmeet: Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow and Hulk. The SHIELD director Nick Fury appoints them to fight against Thor’s brother Loki, who intends to conquer the world. This is how the Avengers team is formed.
Avengers is a collection of the greatest heroes of the Marvel studio world. Chris Hemsworth, who plays the role of Thor, told about their collaboration in the film:
– The heroes have to put aside their motivations, forget about their ego and find themselves in the team. The first half of the movie is about how each of them tries to achieve their goal, which is not good for anyone. Ultimately, however, everyone gets along.
Chris Evans adds:
– Each of the characters has their own emotional baggage, so reconciling all conflicts was not easy!
– Man is part of the community, part of the family, part of something bigger. Such thinking is unfortunately less and less. The goal of the Avengers movie is to bring this idea back into favor – explains Joss Whedon , the film’s director.

Avengers: Age of Ultron

The second movie from the Avengers series begins when the title group attacks the HYDRA base in Sokowia. Superheroes rescue from captivity Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, siblings on whom experiments were conducted with the use of Loki’s spear. A dangerous artifact is used by Stark to launch a special program called “Ultron” to help humanity. Based on artificial intelligence, Ultron unexpectedly rebels and decides to destroy the world. Once again, the heroes must join forces – this time to deal with the threat they have created. The fate of millions of people is once again in the hands of the Avengers team: Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye.
The Avengers: Ultron time are Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Evans (Captain America) , Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Jeremy Renner (as Hawkeye), James Spader as the eponymous Ultron, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Pietro Maximoff / Quicksilver and Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch).

Inhumans

Inhumans is an American series based on the Marvel Comics comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, about a fictional race of superhumans. When the ruler of the powerful subheroes living on the Moon is betrayed by his own brother, the Royal Family flees to Earth, and the fates of Earthlings
and heroes are bound forever. The unexpected contact of nonhumans with humanity can save the entire planet.
Ivan Rheon (known mainly from Game of Thrones ), who plays one of the characters, explains how Inhumans differ from other heroes from the Marvel universe:
– It’s a story that hasn’t really been told before
in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Inhumans are a slightly different kind of superheroes who did not come to Earth to save humanity or help fight the bad guys. They basically don’t want anything to do with people, they hide from them. It is extremely interesting how people and inhumans interact and what happens when they first meet.
