Streaming platform Max is gearing up to release the second season of Taika Waititi’s Our Flag Means Death . Fans have just received a new trailer for this production.
The first season of Our flag means death was released just over a year ago and met with very positive reactions, gained many fans and received very high ratings. Not surprisingly, a sequel was quickly announced. Now Max has finally announced that the new episodes will premiere in October and has also released a new trailer.
Vanity Fair magazine spoke to those behind the scenes of the show. They talked about what is to come in the next episodes.

Charming the charming Stade becomes an adventurer and captain of a pirate ship. Struggling to earn the respect of his potentially mutinous crew, Stede’s fortunes changed after a fatal encounter with the infamous Captain Blackbeard, played by Waititi. To their surprise, completely different Stede and Blackbeard found more than just friendship on the high seas… they found love. Now they have to survive it.
