The creators revealed what the beta participants can expect. Of course, the possibilities of this version of the game will be limited, but you will still be able to experience many elements of the game. The whole thing will start with the segment on the Golden Gate Bridge known from the previous trailers. After completing it, players will be given Warzones co-op quests, Dropzones missions, and access to HARM rooms. These items will become available after you play the approximately 25-minute single-player part.
Four playable characters will also be active: Black Widow, Hulk, Ms. Marvel and Iron Man. In addition, Helicarrier and Jarvis will also be unlocked. The latter is to have a significant impact on the story of Hulk and Ms. Marvel. Heroes will be able to develop and customize in three skill trees thanks to the large amount of available equipment.
The first beta will be launched by PS4 owners who pre-ordered the game – from August 7 to August 9. From August 14-16, all Sony console users will be able to play the title, and Xbox One and PC players with pre-orders will also join them. From August 21, everyone will be able to access the beta again. This one will last until August 23.
The creators of the game revealed another playable character that will be available after the launch of the title in September. That hero is Hawkeye. Like other heroes, this one will also get its own skill tree, unique attacks and abilities, and customization options. Even a trailer of Clint Barton was shown during the stream. Marvel’s archer will reportedly not be the only superhero added after launch. It is not known who else will join the team.
The functionality in the game of the popular Hulkbuster armor was also discussed. As it turns out, it will not be just an alternative skin for Iron Man, but the so-called ultimate this hero. When using it, players will get access to a whole new arsenal of weapons and attacks. These include rocket-charged melee attacks and dash maneuvers that allow you to sweep away more enemies at the same time. In addition, there will also be a gloved rocket cannon, an additional reinforced repulsor and a powerful jump attack. Additionally, Iron Man’s durability will be increased.
