The twenty-first MCU movie has just hit the market on DVD and Blur-Ray. This is a good opportunity to refresh yourself with one of the biggest premieres of this year.
Thanks to the Galapagos publishing house, Polish MCU fans can now buy Blu-Ray discs and DVDs with the movie Captain Marvel . The 21st movie of the Marvel cinematic universe is also the prequel to the series. The production debuting in theaters on March 8, 2019 quickly became a huge hit. Kapita n Marvel is the first superhero movie to exceed the billion dollar profit mark in the global Box Office ranking!
Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck are responsible for directing, and the title character was played by the Oscar winner (for her role in the film Room ) – Brie Larson. In addition to her, the cast includes Oscar nominees Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law, Annette Bening, Djimon Hounsou and Golden Globe nominee Ben Mendelsohhn.
The official production description is as follows:
1995, Hala, capital of the galactic Kree Empire. Vers ( Brie Larson ), a member of the elite squad, suffers from recurring nightmares. The warrior is convinced that her past hides a secret.
Soon, during a special rescue operation on another planet, Vers is captured by the Skrulls, an aggressive race of shape-shifting aliens long at war with the Kree. Their commander Talos ( Ben Mendelsohn ) discovers that Vers is most likely from Earth. Escaping, she heads there, pursued by a squad of Skrulls. Her appearance on Earth arouses the interest of agents Nick Fury ( Samuel L. Jackson ) and Phil Coulson ( Clark Gregg ) and, as a consequence, involves them in the middle of an intergalactic conflict.
