The new comic adaptation has already found a director!
After Suicide Squad and the role of Harley Quinn, Margot Robbie takes on another famous comic book character. The title Tank Girl, created by Alan Martin and Jamie Hewlett, has already received a film version. The departures girl in 1995 portrayed the Lori Petty. Martin himself informed on Twitter about the possible start of work on a new film.
LuckyChap with Margot Robbie as producer will handle the new release. While there is no information on whether or not Robbie will star in the film, it is likely given the fact that she has appeared in every production she has produced (including I’m the Best. Me, Tonya and the Future Birds of Prey ).
A few days after the reboot was announced, information about the director also appeared. According to Collider, it will be Miles Joris-Peyrafitte, who has previously worked with Robbie, incl. with the 2019 drama Dreamland .
The comic itself is published in Poland by the Non Stop Comics publishing house – the series consists of three volumes.
