The night from Sunday to Monday turned out to be tragic, when Maja Lidia Kossakowska, wife of Jarosław Grzedowicz, lost her life
The author lost her life in a summer house in Stare Załubice. Around 2:35 a phone call was made asking for help, possibly by her husband. Several fire brigades went to the scene, and on the spot they discovered that the brick and wooden house was completely on fire. The man found there shouted that his wife was inside. After several dozen minutes the situation was brought under control, but it was too late for the woman.
On his Facebook profile , the author’s publisher, i.e. Fabryka Słów , placed the following information:
The tragic accident left us all in disbelief and shock. Maja, in a few days we were supposed to meet, talk, laugh – as always. You left behind a void that we cannot yet grasp.
Maja Lidia Kossakowska made her debut with the short story Mucha , which was published in 1997 in the Fenix magazine . He has many books to his credit, including well-known series such as: The Phantom of the South, Angelic Hosts, Order of the World’s End, Takeshi . She wrote books based on beliefs and mythologies, and was mainly known for her love of angelology.
