Action and horror – two premieres

Game of Fortune – Guy Ritchie with his latest title enters the world of spy action cinema with a flourish. “Ocean’s Eleven”-style humor, intrigue worthy of the best Bond movies, and all in the unique style of the creator of “Sherlock Holmes”. Intelligence ace Orson Fortune and his crew enlist Hollywood’s biggest star to help them thwart a high-tech weapons deal that threatens the world. Tough guy Jason Statham versus the villain Hugh Grant, and in the background an excellent rapper in his first big role, i.e. Bugzy Malone.

M3gan is a horror game, but also a skilfully shown world of modern human relationships. What can happen when a specially designed AI replaces the human in its role of guardian? The heroine Gemma is an excellent programmer in a toy company. Her new task is to develop a doll using artificial intelligence. And that’s how the doll-M3GAN will be created. The realistic toy will be programmed to be the child’s greatest companion and the parent’s greatest ally. Gemma unexpectedly has to take care of her orphaned niece. He decides to enlist the help of the M3GAN prototype. This decision will have unimaginable consequences.

The first Oscar-nominated film in the history of distant Bhutan – Lunan. School at the End of the World .The film by director Pawo Choyning Dorji is an affirmation of a simple life in accordance with the laws of nature. Living in the capital of Bhutan, Ugyen has a clearly defined plan for life. The man dreams of a singer’s career and for this he plans to go to Australia. However, before he can do so, he must complete his last year of government teaching service. By decision of his superiors, he ends up in the most distant village school. Located at an altitude of five thousand meters, the place has nothing to do with the comfortable life he used to lead. There is no electricity there, there are no educational materials, and in the classroom where he is supposed to teach, next to his students he can meet … yak. Although at first Ugyen wants to escape from there as soon as possible, the commitment of the young students, but also the warmth and incredible strength of the villagers make that it begins to change opinions about this unique place. The film was appreciated at many world film and mountain festivals, where it won over a dozen audience awards. The success of the film was certainly due to the beautiful landscapes of Bhutan, the music and a subtle sense of humor, as well as the atmosphere of the film itself, which combines an endearing serenity with a penetrating look at parts of the world that are little known to us.

Perfect wedding .This wedding didn’t go well from the start. The bride (Aleksandra Adamska) is pregnant, and her possessive mother (Ewa Kasprzyk) does not want to hear about the child’s real father. The groom (Adam Woronowicz) basically does not know his future wife, and he was forced to marry by eloquent blackmail by his future mother-in-law. When the wedding day arrives, an avalanche of events sets in motion. The groom wakes up in the bridal suite with a gigantic headache after a lavish bachelor party with a woman he doesn’t know. There is a knock on the door, you must act quickly and hide your mistress in the bathroom. Fortunately, it’s only the best man (Piotr Głowacki). Unfortunately, a moment later, the future bride and her mother burst into the same room. If both men want to get out of this uncomfortable situation, they must quickly come up with an alternative version of events. However, this only makes matters worse, because with each lie they fall into the next. It soon turns out that everyone here has something to hide. This day is starting to look dangerously like the biggest disaster in the life of the future mother-in-law, father-in-law, witness, wedding planner and everyone around. The oppression they find themselves in and getting out of it unscathed will seem like an impossible twist. And even if they succeed, it will only be a second of silence before the storm and a prelude to what lies ahead. One thing seems certain: this wedding will be talked about for a long time.
