LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy is reportedly one of several games canceled by TT Games . The LEGO series is one of the most respected family-friendly games. The most popular include Star Wars, Marvel and DC. The publisher has been in the business of reinventing games for years to make them accessible to everyone with whimsical humor, simple but fun gameplay. All would gain an impressive reputation as they develop. Just last year, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga came out to critical acclaim and a rather ridiculous level of commercial success. The hype around the game was incredibly high, even for people who have largely grown out of LEGO games.
Despite the successes, there seems to be trouble behind the scenes. Over the past few years, we’ve heard that things aren’t going super smooth at TT Games, and a new report from Nintendo Life is adding fuel to the fire. According to the report, the distributor canceled Disney’s LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy , which would have starred Nova and Adam Warlock, as well as the shooter that started as a Funko Pop game with various major franchises such as Rick and Morty , Stranger Things , and more. The studio is also working on a new DLC for The Skywalker Saga centered around The Mandalorian and a new LEGO Batman game, but both stand at a disadvantage to a supposed Harry Potter game in the style of The Skywalker Saga .
All these projects sound very exciting, but it seems that the creators are really struggling. For now, it is not known which of the ideas will come into force. They all seem to be very busy and come with a lot of pressure from juggling these major IP addresses.
