The heroes of the “Fearful Five” series try to escape ruthless destiny, return to their human form or regain lost love. They all face terrible adversities, supernatural forces and tremendous fear. Each of the film stories will provide the viewers with strong emotions and will allow the weekend to start with an emotional thrill of anxiety.
Frank Cotton, the protagonist of Hellraiser: Hellraiser, is an extremely curious gentleman. With the help of a magic cube, he enters the world of hellish demons – Cenobites. As a result of this trip, he loses his human form and turns into a hideous monster. He is brought back to life by his stepbrother, who is moving into his new home. Cotton has an affair with a new tenant’s wife, Julia (Clare Higgins). The man knows that in order to recover his human body, he must find and kill more victims. He asks Julia for help in carrying out one of the crimes … Will the woman help him come back to life?
Presence is a film made on the basis of one of the cases solved by the marriage of Lorraine and Ed Warren (they are played by Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson). A couple who track down paranormal events are summoned by the family who have recently lived in an old house outside the city. Households are tormented by unexplained phenomena that seem to worsen over time. The couple discover that years ago an old witch lived in the house and that she was most likely harassing the family. Ghost hunters propose a number of solutions, but it turns out that this case is very different from all they have dealt with so far …
The story of the Romanian immortal count named Dracula is a true classic today. In one of the newest versions of this story, Gary Oldman plays the main character. The vampire spent many centuries in his abandoned castle when he was unexpectedly visited by lawyer Jonathan Harker (Keanu Reeves). The young man offers him to sell the old abbey. Unfortunately, Dracula stumbles upon a photo of Jonathan’s fiancée – Mina (Winona Ryder). It turns out that the woman deceptively reminds him of his beloved, who took her own life several centuries earlier. The prince imprisons a lawyer in his creepy castle and transforms himself into the young and handsome Prince Vlad. He decides to regain his lost love.
Final Destination 5 is the last installment in the famous series of horror films, the heroes of which want to avoid death at all costs. The fifth part begins when a group of employees of one of the companies goes on an integration trip. One tour participant, Sam Lawton (Nicholas D’Agosto), has a vision in which the coach falls into the abyss during a bridge crash. Sam is up to the task and persuades the others to get off the bus. The predictions turn out to be correct and the group avoids an accident. From now on, however, everyone is haunted by ruthless destiny that tries to annihilate them in the most unexpected circumstances and in many surprising ways. Will anyone find a way to avoid a ruthless fate?
