On September 1, the crowdfunding for Last Hours: Survival will begin on the Kickstarter website . The independent title of the German studio will offer a new look at the genre of first-person survival games, very popular in recent years. A great advantage of the production is the use of Unreal Engine 4 technology, which is supposed to allow you to create an attractive world in the post-apo realities. The players will have to travel through the areas covered by a mysterious plague, one of the effects of which was the emergence of dangerous mutants (we will face both human and animal opponents).
The creators chose the crowdfunding method because they believe that many of these types of games have deviated from the players’ expectations, so they count on the possibility of contact with the community. First, Last Hours: Survival is to be released in Steam Early Access (March 2021). According to the assumptions, at this stage, the game has a day and night cycle, dynamic weather, complete survival mechanics, crafting, hunting and base-building system, advanced character creator, various factions, AI-controlled enemies. However, you will not have to limit yourself to lonely gameplay, as they promise a stable multiplayer mode that supports voice communication over a limited distance. Among the interesting elements of the mechanics, it is also worth mentioning the access of vehicles and weapons based on a modular structure, facilitating modifications.
