During the Universal Pictures panel at CinemaCon 2023, it was confirmed that the 11th film in the Fast and the Furious series will be released in 2025. The next and penultimate installment in the series, Fast X , will hit theaters next month. Part 11 is to be directed by Louis Leterrier (creator of Fast X, among others) , and written by Christina Hodson and Oren Uziel .
This is one movie after another. The target release date is February 23 for the former and February 24 for the latter. We were supposed to release this movie last year, before the pandemic. So I ‘m guessing what ‘s different about this release is that we ‘re a year into Fast 10 development and pre – production . _ So I’m doing these interviews, and it’s weird because I have to get back to Fast 9. I’m celebrating the release of Fast 9 , but I have so much more to celebrate.

In Fast X, Dominic Toretto must protect his crew and family from Cipher, who now teams up with Dante Reyes, the son of drug lord Hernan Reyes, seeking revenge for his father’s death.
Returning to Fast X are Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, Sung Kang, Michael Rooker and Scott Eastwood. New cast members also include Jason Momoa, Alan Ritchson, Daniela Melchior, Rita Moreno, Leo Abelo Perry and Brie Larson.
I spent a lot of time putting my ear to the ground and sensing what real fans want and how they feel, and watching how the saga should end – with dignity and fairness . Everything has brought us to this point. I’d say just look at where we are in the world, where technology is moving so fast that we don’t have a moment to think about the ramifications or implications of how this could affect our future, and imagine what Toretto’s philosophy would be. If you think a car represents freedom, the opposite is artificial intelligence – it’s driverless cars. Somewhere there will be contrasting themes, philosophies that will wage war in this finale.
